Pennsylvania Births, Bucks County 1682-1800 is a comprehensive index to the extant birth records for children born in Bucks County before 1800. Each entry lists the family name, the name of the infant, the date of birth or baptism, the names of both parents and the source where the information was found. If the mother's maiden surname is given in the church record that information is also included. Records used for this compliation were found in twenty-two church and meeting registers. Denominations covered in the Bucks County volume include: Quaker, Dutch Reformed, Presbyterian, Baptist, German Reformed and Lutheran. Combined these registers list more than of 12,200 recorded births.
