Pennsylvania Births, Northampton County 1733-1800 is a comprehensive index to the extant birth records for children born in Northampton County before 1800. Each entry lists the family name, the name of the infant, the date of birth or baptism, the names of both parents and the source where the information was found. If the mother's maiden surname is given in the church record that information is also included. Records used for this compilation were found in fourteen church registers and one personal record. Denominations covered in the Northampton County volume include Moravian, German Reformed and Lutheran. Combined these registers list more than of 12,000 recorded births.
